Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data CodeBuzzers Technologies Pvt Ltd collects through codebuzzers.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers visitors to this website and people who contact us about work. Data we process on behalf of a client, inside a product we built for them, is governed by our contract with that client rather than by this policy.
What we collect
- What you send us. Name, email address, phone number, company and whatever you write in the message when you use a contact form or email us directly.
- How you used the site. Pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type. This is analytics data, collected in aggregate.
- Anything you send during a project. Files, credentials and access we need in order to do the work, held only for as long as the engagement requires.
We do not collect payment card details on this website. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers who process card data directly.
Why we collect it
- To reply to an enquiry and to scope, quote and deliver work you have asked for.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Where the law requires a lawful basis, ours is legitimate interest in running and improving the business, performance of a contract with you, or your consent — whichever applies to the specific data.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf: hosting and cloud infrastructure, email delivery, website analytics, and payment processing. Each is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where the law compels it.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Data may be stored on infrastructure located in India, the European Union, or the United States, depending on the provider. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as we have an active relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards; project data is deleted or returned at the end of an engagement on request. Records required for tax and accounting are kept for the statutory period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us — we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access control on the systems that hold client and enquiry data, and least-privilege access for the team. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data and the law requires notification, we will notify you.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
