Software development team working late in a glass-walled office at CodeBuzzers

Every product we have built started as one sentence somebody said out loud.

We design and build web platforms, mobile apps and AI systems —then run them in production.

CodeBuzzers is a software development company in Kolkata. We work with founders, operations leads and enterprise technology teams — in e-commerce, fintech, real estate, on-demand services, education, food and grocery delivery — as their only technology team.

Where we work from

01What we do

Six capabilities, one team.

Most projects use three or four at once. The people who scope the work build it.

What we build with

What the team runs in production today, across web, mobile, AI and infrastructure.

Front end

React · Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS

Mobile

Swift · Kotlin · React Native · Flutter

Back end

Node.js · Python · REST and GraphQL APIs

Data

PostgreSQL · MongoDB · Redis · BigQuery

AI

Claude and OpenAI APIs · RAG pipelines · vector search

Infrastructure

AWS · Google Cloud · Docker · Kubernetes · Terraform · GitHub Actions

What brings people to us

  • A manual process that has outgrown spreadsheets.
  • A product that works but loses customers at a specific step.
  • A platform built by someone else that nobody can safely change.
  • An idea with a deadline and no in-house engineering team.

02How we work

One team, one date, no surprises.

Every project runs the same five stages.

01DiscoveryBefore any quoteMap the process with the people doing the work today. The write-up is yours either way.
02ScopingBefore any codeFixed scope, fixed date, itemised cost. Uncertain items are listed as risks, not padded quietly.
03Build8–12 weeks for an MVP · 4–6 months for enterprise systemsTwo-week cycles, a working build after each one, and one delivery lead from scoping to handover. Daily syncs in a shared Slack channel and a weekly video review, with direct access to your lead engineer.
04LaunchRelease weekStore submissions, DNS, monitoring, alerting and a rollback path — set up before release.
05Handover & supportSLA-driven retainer, or a clean exitDocumentation, a walkthrough, every credential transferred. Then a support arrangement or a clean handover.

What we commit to

01

We tell you when something is a bad idea, before you pay to build it.

02

One date. If it moves, you hear it from us first, with the reason.

03

The person who scoped your project is still on the call in month six.

04

Nothing ships until it survives a bad network and a worse day.

Who owns what

You own

  • All source code, in your own repository, from the first commit.
  • Cloud accounts, domains, app store listings and every credential.
  • Designs, source files and documentation.
  • The right to take it to another team at any point, with no exit fee.

We own

  • Delivery against the agreed scope and date.
  • Code review, testing and security practice on everything we write.
  • Uptime, monitoring and on-call under an SLA-driven support retainer.
  • Telling you early when the plan needs to change.
03Who we are

50+ people, in one office, for over eight years.

Everyone who builds your product sits on one engineering floor in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The designers, engineers and delivery lead who scope the work are the same people who ship it and stay on it after launch.

We hire slowly. Nothing is subcontracted.

Who would be on your project

  • Product designers
  • iOS and Android engineers
  • React and Next.js engineers
  • Backend engineers
  • AI engineers
  • Cloud and DevOps engineers
  • QA
  • Delivery leads

Typical team: a product designer, the engineers your product actually needs, and one delivery lead who stays from scoping to handover.
